Top Tracks
‘Flower feat. BASI’ by 092 aka Skunky
I missed out on the chance to do Top Tracks of 2012 due my lack of network, so I’m just changing this to Top Tracks.
Hip Hop is dead. The moment Cash Money, Young Money YMCMBWHATEVERTHEFUCKTHEYCALLTHEMSELVES appeared on my screen, I belived that the worst had come. Over in Japan however, Hip Hop was just getting better and better. When I heard Flower, I was shocked to find out that this was a recent track. It totally sounds like it fell from 2003 and it gave me hope in what I thought was lost forever. I believe that america and england could take some lessons in rap from these guys

International women’s day (yeah it’s late, I don’t go on tumblr that much)
Mothers, Aunts, Grandmothers, Nieces, sisters. women are the balance needed to help sustain a planet. I mean lets’s be honest men, if there were no women this planet would turn to shit. but i’m not here to talk about real women, I’m a fucking anime and video games fan so lets talk about the coolest women in comic/anime/video game history. (in no particular order)
1. Maggie and Hopey (Love & Rockets)

The original comic punk rock girls Maggie and Hopey were the brainchildren of Jamie Hernandez and they were the main half of Love & Rockets. They were strong, independent and had great personalities to boot. they were bisexual but not in the whole ‘sex sells’ kinda way. And that’s why i love them so much. you didn’t read Love and rockets for boob shots and sex scenes, you read it because it was good and these character’s stories were interesting and they kept you reading and buying each issue.
2. jun (Tekken series)

If anybody played Tekken Tag 2, you’ll see where I’m coming from. when you get up to her, shit starts to go down. she’d tear you apart and make your progress look like nothing. I like her for the same reason that I like maggie and Hopey. women in fighting games have always been portrayed in scantly clad clothing and have ridiculous measurements, and some scenarios the victims of rape (don’t ever play battle raper, if you do you need some serious help). jun was cool in tt2, she was silent but deadly and her fighting style made you think you was up against the wind.
3. Meiko (Solanin)

Solanin is your typical slice of life manga about a young girl who has a boring life. wouldn’t think that from the picture huh? after the death of her boyfriend, she decides to take over his band and well, the rest is self explanatory. meiko is one of my favourite female character quite simply because of how plain she is. And yet, despite being as plain as she is, is somehow very interesting to read about. apparently there’s a live action film of this, but I have yet to see it.
4. THE ENTIRE CAST OF CLAYMORE

Claymore is very special because it was a female fronted manga published in a boys magazine but without using sleaze to sell it. these girls were serious and kicked a lot of ass too. as you read or watched, you began to notice all the different personalities unfold and you had the option of loving or hating these girls. it’s really had to explain plus i’m tired too so i’m gonna end this one with a simple ‘go watch the anime or read the manga’ face :D
What
Oh great, now Satan has another hooligan to deal with.
